Published on 12/24/20: Heads up on an activity to partake in between now and December 31st, The Lights of Lake Park Estates!
We’ll be visiting tomorrow night, though based on several other accounts, this light tour makes for a great excursion! Plus the story behind the event is very special.

“This originated in 1993 to celebrate the life of our neighbor, Ruby Dow, and salute the care she received from our community hospice, Suncoast Hospice….the neighborhoods of Lake Park Estates, Wieker, Lakeside Estates, and Lake Seminole Village, generously decorate their homes and yards with over 3.0 miles of Christmas Lights and Decorations for the public to enjoy”.

An interesting fact about Mike is that he grew up on an avocado farm with over 15 varieties, some of which you can find in our local Publix/Winn Dixie as his dad still farms the same farm at 87 years old!
