Published on 03/31/21: It’s time for our next #SupportLocal drawing for two gift cards! Of course, these are for local restaurants as we continue to share the love. This week, the gift cards are to Fresco’s St. Pete, a waterfront restaurant with a great atmosphere downtown.

As boaters, we especially love Fresco’s given the convenience of public boat dockage adjacent to the restaurant. However, this is on our ‘frequent’ list, whether by boat or car. As was the case yesterday for Colt and I after school! I mean Fresco’s is right on the water, has a great patio (huge), is walking distance to everything downtown and has delicious food and drinks! It’s just an overall great atmosphere. Highly suggest you visit, if you haven’t tried Fresco’s yet.
Side Story – Colt’s First Bad Word
Somewhat related topic. Colt also learned his first bad word at school yesterday and shared it with the Fresco’s waitress. 😳 Not good. After apologizing for my 5 year old cussing like a sailor, we gathered our gift cards for a silent ride home. Well, silent after a 20 minute discussion about not saying /doing things once you know they’re wrong. To say I was very shocked, would be an understatement. Live and we learn. 🙃

When not spending time with his beautiful wife and energetic son, Mike enjoys boating and is also an avid tennis player. An interesting fact about Mike is that he grew up on an avocado farm with over 15 varieties, some of which you can find in our local Publix/Winn Dixie as his dad still farms the same farm at 87 years old!
