Here’s some local football ‘watch party’ locations, though realize everything changes quickly these days. So if you have a correction or an additional school to add below, simply comment accordingly. I focused on Pinellas locations, unless the team didn’t have one in this area.

I love college football!

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m extremely passionate when it comes to college athletics. Upon moving to St Pete, a group of us began watching our team play each week. Our watch party grew, eventually with 100+ joining fairly frequently pre-Covid (190+ once). We even decided to start a non-profit to raise scholarship money to help local students attend our alma mater. Last weekend we had our Football Kickoff Event, where our Brewing Science professors flew in to teach us about beer, helping us raise $$ in the process!

Bottomline, if you aren’t yet connected to your local fan base, I hope you use this opportunity to do so! Fun and you can help others!

When not spending time with his beautiful wife and energetic son, Mike enjoys boating and is also an avid tennis player. An interesting fact about Mike is that he grew up on an avocado farm with over 15 varieties, some of which you can find in our local Publix/Winn Dixie as his dad still farms the same farm at 87 years old!
